Meet Nora Darr

Born and raised in Illinois as the youngest of four daughters, Nora Darr grew up in a family dedicated to education, with both parents serving as teachers. She began her own educational journey by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Southern Illinois University. As a US Navy spouse, Nora moved frequently, providing her with the unique opportunity to work in both public and private schools across the country. These experiences allowed her to observe various school systems and teaching methodologies, enriching her perspective on education.

Nora’s passion for Special Education ignited when she was hired at a private school dedicated to students with special needs. This inspired her to further her expertise, leading to a Master’s degree in Special Education from Ball State University. During an overseas post with the State Department in Brazil, Nora served as a Special Education Coordinator for an international school. It was here that she recognized the profound need for consistent advocacy for overseas students with special needs.

With over 10 years of experience in general education, inclusion classrooms, and self-contained classroom settings, Nora brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her current role as a coordinator. At IEP Global Support, she leverages her extensive background to provide unwavering support and tailored educational solutions for families worldwide, ensuring every child receives the education they deserve.
